French Toast à l’Orange

If you love French toast, you’ll die for this French toast à l’Orange recipe. It’s a healthy, low-fat breakfast with a delicious orange flavor. And while it sounds really fancy, it’s super simple to make.

Ingredients
3 egg whites or 2 omega-3 eggs
1/2 cup soy or nonfat milk
1/2 cup orange juice
Zest of 1 orange
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 slices whole wheat bread, stale

Directions
Whisk the eggs until blended, then whisk in all the remaining ingredients except the bread. Soak the bread briefly in the egg mixture. Fry the bread slices in a medium sauté pan just until brown.

Notes
