Creamy Hummus & Avocado Sandwich with Sundried Tomatoes
Simply put, this hummus and avocado sandwich recipe is yummy! The hummus and avocado get a nice kick from the tart sundried tomatoes for a very uniquely satisfying flavor. We provide and easy recipe below for making your own hummus, too. It’s easy!

Ingredients
1/2 cup Hummus
1 avocado, thinly sliced
Chopped white or red onion
2 (6″) round whole wheat pita bread
Directions
Cut the pita bread in half at the crease. Spread 1/4 cup of the hummus on top of one half of the pita bread. Place the slices of avocado and half of the onion quarters on top of the hummus. Sprinkle sundried tomatoes for a final finish and serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers and use them within 1 week or freeze them for longer storage
