For all of us Marionberry lovers, this fruit spread is magnificent. It’s made of 78% cooked-down Marionberries (Oregon blackberry variety) and it has a rich earthy flavor and deep purple color. There are seeds in this fruit spread but that’s a good thing because they’re loaded with bioactive components. In fact, ellagic acid, a phytonutrient in Marionberries, tends to be concentrated in the seeds. These berries are also a good source of vitamin E, folate, magnesium, potassium and copper and they are a very good source of fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese.
