This nut butter is a fantastic concoction. It combines 3 very different nuts into one delicious butter. It has the creamy texture of cashews, the meaty taste of almonds, and the robust taste of pecans. And you get the synergistic nutritional benefits of all 3 nuts in one nut butter. There is a bit of sea salt mixed in for a great flavor booster, but there are no added sugars, flavorings or preservatives. It’s all natural and it comes in a glass jar.

Eating nuts and nut butters contribute to a healthy heart and more balanced blood sugar levels. They’re also a good source of protein and they keep you feeling full longer. Cashews are tree nuts and offer copper, magnesium and phosphorus. Almonds are a great source of calcium, as well as vitamin E and magnesium. Pecans also are a source of copper. Copper is important in our diets because it is involved in many processes in our bodies. Copper powers our mitochondria, helps absorb iron, which keeps our red blood cells healthy, and copper is necessary in the formation of collagen.

Tierra Farm’s Lightly Sea Salted Mixed Nut Butter is certified organic and is made in small batches in a low-carbon facility so you get that fresh nut flavor in each glass jar. The facility also is peanut-free so it may be a good nut butter for people who are allergic to peanuts. It is certified gluten free and it’s Kosher. In a ¼ cup serving there are 2 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.

You can use this nut butter just like you would any other nut butter. Make a sandwich, dip fruit or veggies in it, or use it in a stir fry. It’s great any way you use it. @

It's quite common for people to worry about the fat content in nuts while ignoring their massive benefit to the mind and body. Yes, they are high in calories and fat, but in all the good ways. Of course, don't eat huge quantities. A handful of nuts about five times a week will reduce your chances of getting a heart attack by at least 15 percent and possibly even as much as 51 percent.
