This tea is a marvelous way to begin your bedtime routine. We find it relaxing and quite tranquil. Brew a cup in the evening and remember to smell this tea before you brew it. It has a lovely, slightly sweet yet minty, aroma. We like the addition of cinnamon and orange peel. Cinnamon not only tastes and smells great, it also can have a positive effect on blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels. We applaud any way we can add cinnamon to our diets. And orange peel oil contains a phytonutrient known as limonene which has positive effects on our health.
This wonderful blend does not include any actual tea so there is no caffeine to disrupt your night’s sleep. You can brew this loose leaf tea with a traditional steeper or you can even use a drip coffee maker or coffee press to make it.
