Sometimes we avoid buying certain exotic fruits because we just don’t know what to do with them when we get home. The kiwi is one such fruit. It has that intimidating and fuzzy peel, which confuses us when it comes to getting it off. You almost want to use a potato peeler, but that doesn’t work. Carving it off with a knife is just such a hassle, too!
First, you want to get a really sharp knife and cut both ends of the kiwi. Next, take a spoon and wedge it in between the peel and the meat of the fruit. Gently begin to rotate the fruit until you’ve managed to free it from its peel. And voila! You’re ready to enjoy that beautiful and nourishing kiwi.
